The Board of Directors consists of executive directors with expertise in specific business fields, outside directors which have extensive experience in business management, and outside directors who are lawyers well-versed in legal matters, compliance, and risk management. We believe that the diversity and the number of the directors effectively enable the Board of Directors to fulfill its roles and responsibilities.

We comply with the criteria established by the Companies Act and by the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Additionally, we have created our own standards for independence of outside officers and made them public.
