In recent years, many regions are seeing problems such as localized heavy rainfalls and flooding, or chronic droughts. These issues are predicted to worsen due to factors such as the growing global population and climate change. At the Kyoei Steel Group, we use large quantities of water for applications such as cooling equipment during the manufacturing process for steel products. As such, we recognize the need for us to reduce our own water risks and to consider the impact we have on the natural environment, local people, and even ecosystems. For this reason, we aim to achieve zero water emissions by promoting water recycling.
