We are committed to the roles in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Kyoei Steel Group has traditionally used its efforts to resolve issues facing society as an opportunity for growth.

We will continue to aim for sustainable growth by contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.

Developing resource recycling-oriented businesses centered on electric arc furnaces contributing to a sustainable Society

In the steel business cycle, steel scrap that has completed its role in society is melted down in electric arc furnaces and recycled into steel products to be supplied to society. The electric arc furnace, the core facility, generates arc heat of 3,000 to 7,000°C during operation. We would like to contribute to the resource recycling in wider fields of society by effectively utilizing this heat to safely treat wastes generated in society.

Contributing to sustainable global growth as one of the Japanese electric arc furnace manufacturers with low environmental impact

Japan's steel industry has the world's top-class energy-saving technologies. We have, of course, introduced cutting-edge technologies such as high-efficiency burners and a direct rolling process that directly rolls without reheating from casting, as well as operating know-how. We would like to spread the technology around the world and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society worldwide.
