Operating a resource-recycling business in major areas across Japan

We recycle the steel scraps generated in each area into steel products and supply them to those areas.
The business model of our company that we call “Market Mill” is to manufacture steel products to meet the market demands and fully satisfy the needs of users.
The KYOEI STEEL Group is based in four regions in Japan(Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku and Kyushu)with mills in each region.
We determine the characteristics and trends of the market and conduct carefully designed business activities.

Yamaguchi Division

Our base in the Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions. A wide variety and size of products are manufactured there, including full-size rebars, round bars, flat bars, I-beams, and equal angle bars. In addition, the Yamaguchi Division has been making an investment in the field of industrial waste treatment from early on, part of which was the development of the MESSCUD System. Hirakata Division (Hirakata Mill)

Our main base in the Kansai region. Hirakata Mill is specialized in the production of thin steel rods. It is designed with a closed system for preventing environmental pollution. The mill’s facilities include the first UHP large electric furnace in the world and a run-in trough cooling bed with a brake for high speed rolling. Rebars, round steel, and round bars are produced there. ISO140001 certified. Hirakata City, Osaka.

Nagoya Division

Our base in the Chubu region. The mill has a direct current electric furnace with the first Consteel system introduced in Japan, which enables continuous preheating and operation. In addition to the production of full-size rebars, it is focused on the development of threaded rebars to meet the diverse needs of users. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Nakayama Steel Products Co., Ltd.

An affiliate co-owned by KYOEI STEEL and Godo Steel, Ltd. in equal shares. In addition to billets, the company manufactures a variety of products including rebars, round steel, and threaded rebars using the latest unheated rolling technology. Kanto Steel Co., Ltd.

Established in 1994, Kanto Steel is a consolidated subsidiary serving as a base in the Kanto area. Aiming to play a core role in local recycling, the company produces rebars and round bars while operating an industrial waste treatment business. ISO 14001 and KS (Korean Industrial Standards) certified. Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

Kyoei Steel Vietnam Company Limited

Kyoei Steel Vietnam Company Limited was established in September 2011 in Ninh Bình Province in northern Vietnam, about 100 km south of the country’s capital Hanoi. The company produces rebars and wire rods using a rolling line (with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons) that it inherited from a local manufacturer. Additionally, an integrated steelmaking and rolling line with an annual output of 500,000 tons is under construction in order to keep up with the increasing demand for steel in the northern area of Vietnam. Vina Kyoei Steel Ltd.

Established in 1994, Vina Kyoei Steel Ltd. is a joint venture company located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, which is about 70 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam. It started commercial production in 1996. As the first case of Japanese steel business investment in Vietnam, Vina Kyoei Steel Ltd. is running a successful business with a strong customer base and brand power. In addition to a rolling line with annual production capacity of 450,000 tons, an integrated steelmaking and rolling line with annual output of 500,000 tons is under construction.
